Tickets · 2026 Edition

Nineteen years on, the next chapter of Britain's oldest historic motorsport gathering opens its gates.

Since 2007, three days each summer have brought more than a thousand pre-1980 racing machines back to Donington Park — driven by the men and women who first took them racing, watched by the enthusiasts who never forgot. Tickets for the 2026 edition are available now, in three considered tiers.

No reserved grandstand seating. Every ticket includes paddock access.

Three ways to attend

Choose the weekend that suits you.

From a single day's immersion to a full three-day pass with hospitality, every tier includes the same unrestricted access to the paddock, the trade hall and the moving demonstrations. The difference is time, comfort and proximity to the cars.

  1. I

    Day Pass

For those who can spare a single summer Saturday or Sunday.

From £— per adult, per day
    • Single-day circuit, paddock and trade-hall entry
    • Access to all parade demonstrations on the day
    • Programme sheet and grid listing posted on arrival
    • Children aged 12 and under admitted free with a paying adult

Right for you if you live within driving distance and want to taste the show without committing to a weekend away.

  2. III

    Paddock Club

A quieter room above the noise, with the cars practically at your elbow.

From £— per adult, three days
    • Everything in the Weekend Pass
    • Paddock Club hospitality lounge with reserved seating
    • Two-course lunch each day, with afternoon tea
    • Private viewing terrace above the pit lane
    • Hosted Q&A with a former Grand Prix driver
    • Souvenir programme and limited-edition print

Right for you if you value a chair, a plate and a conversation with the people who actually drove these cars.

In the press

What the journals have written.

“The single most convincing argument in Britain for the proposition that historic motorsport is not a museum piece but a living, breathing discipline — and the only place where a Grand Prix car, a Le Mans prototype and a pre-war voiturette can be seen moving, at speed, on the same tarmac in the same afternoon.”

Practical matters

The questions a careful buyer asks, answered plainly.

Are children admitted, and at what age do they need a ticket?

Children aged 12 and under are admitted free of charge when accompanied by a paying adult, on every ticket tier. Young people aged 13 to 17 require a ticket at the standard adult rate; the Paddock Club hospitality is restricted to over-18s only. Pushchairs are welcome throughout the public areas, including the trade hall; please be mindful of moving vehicles in the paddock.

Can I bring a dog?

Registered assistance dogs are welcome throughout the venue. Pet dogs, sadly, are not — Donington Park is an active racing circuit with high noise levels, dense crowds and live moving vehicles, an environment we have judged unsuitable for animals other than assistance dogs. We will direct any visitor who arrives with a pet to the kennels in Castle Donington, a short drive from the circuit.

What is your refund and transfer policy?

Tickets are transferable to another person at no charge — simply forward the e-ticket and the new attendee may present it at the gate. Refunds are available up to 30 days before the first day of the show; within 30 days we cannot offer a refund, but will happily move your booking to the following edition at no charge. If the event itself is cancelled or materially curtailed, all tickets are refunded in full.

Does my ticket include paddock and trade-hall access, and what about accessibility?

Yes. Every ticket at every tier includes unrestricted access to the paddock, the trade hall, the motorcycle arena and the concours display. The venue is largely accessible: step-free routes from all main car parks, accessible viewing platforms at three corners of the circuit, and a dedicated accessibility team on hand throughout the weekend. Companion tickets are issued free of charge to visitors holding an accessibility registration. The Historic Motorsport Show is an exhibition and parade event only — it has no affiliation with Formula 1, the FIA World Championship or any active commercial racing series, and tickets do not confer rights at any other event.
